Ellie Pass Away This is Ellie. She came to the shelter very pregnant and with a very bad case of the mange. She was also very malnourished. She was found at the side of the road eating a deer carcass. She had puppies the second day after she came to the shelter. She had nine pups but only four survived. It is very evident that Ellie has had a very hard life and has not been taken care of. She has overcome all her health problems and has gained weight. She has lots of love to give and is looking for a forever home. |

Humane Society project to trap the remaining cats at Burger King and relocate them. As you can see Fletch is not feral and we are working with him so that he might be adopted and go into a loving home. |

Gone to Rescue This is Astro. He came to the Open Arms Shelter about a month ago. A Good Samaritan found him standing at his back door. He looked like he was injured. He was taken to the vet to find out that he had a head injury that caused nerve damage to his eye. After about a week Astro was taken to the vet where his eye was removed. He feels much better now. He is very Sweet and is looking for a family to love him. |
Gone to Rescue This is Daisy. She is new to the shelter. She came to us March 27, 2023. She is a black shepherd mix. She is on a five day stray hold and if not reclaimed she will be available for adoption or rescue. |
